Is it expensive?
Always the first question, but important. You can buy in stages if you wish but generally clients order a complete package of furniture. Generally we would say sales run from £750 to £4500 (inclusive of vat) but average around the £1500-£2500 mark.
What’s the quality like?
With a 10 year manufacturing guarantee it must be very good.
Laminate, is that the same as kitchen units?
No, kitchen units are usually manufactured with a low density board foil rapped. Foil finished boards are light and easily dented or scratched - laminate is much stronger, heat and scratch resistant.
How long have you been trading?
We are in our seventh year of furniture for home users but have many more years working in commercial office furniture.
Will you supply drawings?
Yes, initially it is better if you can send rough measurements and a description of what you need. We will look at some ideas and email a jpeg drawing across to you. Changes are simple and we can price quickly. If there are critical measurements or difficult access we will arrange a visit.
Is it fully fitted?
By ‘fully fitted’ you mean scribed into the walls and corners and fitted wall-to-wall and sealed? No. We work to millimetre tolerances and work out a unit run exactly. For example, if you want a wall of 3970mm of bookcases. Take of 2x20mm for skirting leaves 3930mm, we can manufacture 2 bookcases 1000mm and 2 of 960mm wide giving us 10mm tolerance on the run. The look will be fully fitted but with the benefit of having individual units and being able to move or change your layout.
Can I build it?
Yes, there is no great complexity for a competent person and will reduce the overall cost.
What size can I have my Worktops?
They are also made to millimetre tolerances and are made 5mm short to fit in easily between walls. Walls are never square or straight but if they are badly out we will trim on site and re-edge it. Access allowing, we can make them up to 2500mm long and any shape or depth up to 2000mm.
I’m impressed; I’ve read your testimonials, what next?
Just email your ideas and dimensions and we will get back to you shortly.
I need it quickly?
Say a week to agree the plan, 4 weeks to manufacture, delivery during the sixth week.
Most people think this is ideal as it gives them time to decorate, if you need it quicker please tell us and we will see what we can do.
If my business grows and I need commercial premises can I take it there?
Yes, of course. We can use the base units and just supply or alter your worktops if required. A number of our clients have already done this.
